To that purpose we maintain a separate office complete with computer system,
library, testing equipment, photographic equipment, documentation specialist,
qualified staff, etc.
ONE OF THE MOST COMPLETE REFERENCE LIBRARIES IN THE AREA is maintained in
our establishment to assist in the proper identification and valuing of
articles.
SPECIALIST EXPERTS ARE AVAILABLE TO OUR ESTABLISHMENT on a consultant
basis and perform appraisal work in such highly specialized fields as stamps,
coins, weapons, gemology, musical instruments, archeological items, etc.

INSURANCE APPRAISALS
In today's society with theft and break-ins becoming all too common,
insurance companies will no longer cover silver, jewelry, antiques, art,

general coverage policy on the household and its contents, unless
these high value items are on a Specific Fine Arts Inventory. We can provide
such an inventory which fulfills all necessary requirements for all insurance
companies.

LOAN COLLATERAL APPRAISALS
A rather recent development in today's changing world. More and more people
are becoming aware that the Antique or Fine Art articles which they possess
can be used as collateral for a necessary loan from a bank or lending
institution—providing, of course, that the bank is supplied with adequate
documentation covering the identification and value of those articles.
Check first with the lending institution, then call us, we'll supply the
documentation.
PROBATE APPRAISALS
If a death has created a need for an inventory and appraisal of articles in
an estate, see us, don't use an old insurance appraisal—it may be inaccurate
or the values may be inappropriate.
DIVISION AMONG HEIRS
Sometimes, when the question of the liquidation or dispersion of an estate is
raised, it is unnecessary to go through probate, and is simply a question of
a fair division among heirs. We will supply an impartial and accurate
inventory of appropriate items with values. This is often the easy way out of
an awkward situation when two or more heirs are involved.
DONATION APPRAISALS
Designed to fill the need of documentation by the Internal Revenue Service.
DAMAGE/LOSS APPRAISALS
Primarily to fill the need in establishing a claim against insurance
carriers, moving companies, etc., on goods which have been damaged, lost, or
destroyed.
NOTE: We have a specialized appraisal document concerning items which
are missing or destroyed and for which no Specific Fine Arts Inventory has
been previously filed. Although the items are no longer available for
examination, a reasonably accurate description and value can be supplied, and
is often acceptable on a claim.
